The first month of the natural year
Mangalitza pigs roam freely in our organic pastures, partaking of nature's bounty and contributing to our regenerative farming practices.
It's the vibrant season of spring, and here on our regenerative farm in the Alentejo, the picturesque Vinagra Village, nature is alive with anticipation. Our newly planted fruit trees from last year are bursting into bloom, promising a bounty of apples, pears, oranges, and plums. The fields are a kaleidoscope of colourful blossoms, a delightful feast for the senses. As the grass grows lush and nutritious, it serves as a nourishing banquet for our contented sheep, while our geese and ducks diligently tend to their nests, ushering in the next generation.
In this season of renewal and natural abundance, the dedicated individuals at Vinagra Village, labour tirelessly to ensure the flourishing of our Miyawaki forest and orchard. With a commitment to sustainability, we don't use herbicides, fostering a diverse ecosystem teeming with plants and beneficial insects.
Embracing our ethos of harmony with nature, we've embarked on the creation of two additional Miyawaki Forests encircling our tranquil lakes, further enriching the landscape of Vinagra Village. Through the planting of hundreds of trees, we aspire to deepen the bond between humanity and the natural world, fostering communion with the verdant beauty of our surroundings.
At the heart of our efforts lies a dedication to producing premium organic goods. Our sheep and Mangalitza pigs roam freely in our organic pastures, partaking of nature's bounty and contributing to our regenerative farming practices. Their presence not only sustains a balanced ecosystem but also yields organic meats of unparalleled quality, imbued with the essence of our pristine environment.
